Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Sunday flagged off the state’s daughter and international mountaineer Ms. Anjana Yadav for the journey of ‘Paddle to Plant – New India, Green India’ campaign from Samatva Bhawan located at the Chief Minister’s residence. This campaign is dedicated to the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
4 thousand km cycle journey from Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat
Under the ‘Paddle to Plant – New India, Green India’ programme, Anjana Yadav and her team will undertake a cycle journey of approximately 4,000 kilometers from Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat. Through this journey, she will spread the message of India’s rich culture, environmental protection and social harmony across the country.

The objective of this campaign is to spread Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s idea of a unified, strong and progressive India to the people. Anjana Yadav will also strengthen the spirit of ‘One India, Best India’ during her campaign.

Anjana Yadav, resident of village Semari of Raisen district, has been active in the field of mountaineering for the last five years. He has successfully climbed 20 international mountains so far. Now his next goal is to achieve success on the world’s highest peak ‘Mount Everest’ in the year 2026.
