New Maruti Brezza Price – What To Expect
The Brezza was one such SUV that was barred from benefiting from the lower GST tax rates. While its competitors saw a price drop, this SUV’s price rose instead. With the updated model, Maruti might try to fix all the issues it saw.
Now, the generational update of this Maruti SUV won’t be limited to simple cosmetic changes. But Maruti will also fight back its one biggest complaint, the dated feel. One more change will be the introduction of a new powertrain – a 1.0-litre turbo petrol mill, or a 1.2-litre NA petrol mill from Fronx is expected, but the industry rumours also suggest that Maruti is working on a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, and if it is true, it can surely be included in the Brezza. Now, having a lower-capacity engine will help Maruti cut down on GST rates.
That said, if this happens, Maruti could control the cost of the new Brezza even after getting several changes. At present, the Maruti Brezza costs between Rs 9.61 lakh and Rs 15.31 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), so with the update, the lower variants could see a price drop, while the higher ones could see a slight price hike. The new-generation Maruti Brezza will see several changes – from powertrains to new feature inclusions and underpinnings. One key highlight will be the inclusion of an underbody CNG tank. On the inside, too, Maruti must change the layout and obviously include some features.
