The Hyundai Creta is set to get a much-awaited generation change soon—new platform, new powertrains, and, importantly, more features. The equipment list has been a key driver of its success, and that is expected to continue with the next-gen model. Here are some of the features expected on the new Creta. New-Gen Hyundai Creta Features: Improved ADAS Suite
Currently, the Creta offers a Level-2 ADAS suite with 20 safety features. The next-gen model is expected to get a more extensive Level 2+ suite from the new Seltos, which gets 28 features. Some of the expected assists include navigation-based smart cruise control, frontal collision warning, junction-crossing, and a few more.
New Screens
The biggest change inside the cabin would be the new PLEOS infotainment system. Hyundai has showcased this infotainment system in some of its international models, and the Creta is expected to benefit from the same. The screen is expected to be a massive unit, probably bigger than 15 inches. With this system, new features can be installed via over-the-air (OTA) updates. These updates aren’t limited to software; they can also include mechanical changes (for instance, suspension).
Moreover, the current driver’s display unit could be replaced by a slimmer unit. The display would show basic information, and most functions would be integrated into the infotainment system.
HUD & Wireless Phone Connectivity
At the moment, the top model of the Creta misses out on two features – HUD and wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. You need an additional adapter for wireless connectivity. Things could change with the new model. Kia offers these features on the new Seltos, so the Creta will likely get them as well. Hyundai offers wireless connectivity only on the lower variants, and now it could become standard across most variants.
