Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai performed Bhoomi Pujan of more than 162 crore development works at Guru Darshan and Sant Samagam Mela at Bhandarpuri Dham. He said that it is possible to create a developed and equality based Chhattisgarh only by following the ideals of Guru Ghasidas Baba.
While Guru Ghasidas Baba’s life teachings give the message of equality and humanity on the one hand, on the other hand they show us the path of an advanced and harmonious society. With this inspiration, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today gave direction to the public with new resolutions of state development in Guru Darshan and Sant Samagam Mela organized at Bhandarpuri Dham.
Bhoomipujan of 162 crore development works in Bhandarpuri
Chief Minister Sai performed Bhoomi Pujan of 16 development works costing more than Rs 162 crore on the occasion of the fair. This includes major functions such as construction, widening and strengthening of new roads. He also announced the construction of Dome at the fair site, installing street lights on Telasi-Bhandarpuri road and upgrading Kutesar Primary School in Secondary School.
The Chief Minister said that if five youth of a society wishes to become a pilot, then the government will bear their entire expenses. He also said that the dream of developed and united Chhattisgarh will come true only by following the ideals of Baba Guru Ghasidas.

“Walk on the path of humanity and equality” – Chief Minister Sai
After visiting Guru Gaddi, the Chief Minister said that Guru Baba’s message binds the society in one. He remembered that the progress of Satnami society today is a lively example of the teachings of Guru Ghasidas. The Chief Minister said that his government has completed more than 9000 recruitment processes, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “guarantee”, and recruitment to 5000 posts in the Education Department is at its peak.
Strictness on transparency and corruption in governance
The Chief Minister said that good governance and convergence department has been formed to ensure transparency in every work of the government – Chhattisgarh has become the first state in the country to do so. He said that no matter what the corruption is, he will not be spared.
Increase in budget for development of society
The present government has increased the budget of the Scheduled Caste Development Authority constituted during the tenure of former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh from 50 crores to 75 crores.

Dharmaguru Guru Baldas Saheb said that this fair is a symbol of social harmony and unity. He thanked the Chief Minister for making Khushwant Saheb a minister. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that Jaitkham, located in Girodpuri, is a high symbol of the faith of Chhattisgarh and the poor-interest of Chief Minister Sai is giving a new direction to this state. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said that 162 crore work is a historic initiative for the Arang assembly constituency, which will give a new momentum to the rural structure. He informed that more than 700 road development tenders have been issued in the state and a new form of roads will be seen after the rain.
Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb said that this fair is held every year in memory of Guru Balakdas Saheb, son of Guru Ghasidas Baba, and is a symbol of the ideals of Satnam religion.
