Dhaka Capitals did not pay the money
According to media reports, Dhaka Capitals has so far paid only 27% of the total due amount to the players. According to BPL rules, franchises have to pay players in three installments, 25% on contract, 50% during the tournament and the remaining 25% within 30 days of the end of the tournament. But this system is not being implemented properly in many teams. Some cricketers of this franchise say that they had received 25 percent of the amount at the beginning of the league, but since then no payment has been made.
Cricketers say that Dhaka Capitals CEO Atiq Fahad is not even answering their phones. A cricketer also told that Pakistan’s legendary player Imad Wasim has returned to Pakistan due to anger over not getting the money. Let us tell you, Dhaka Capitals had prepared a strong squad this season, which includes names like Dasun Shanaka (most expensive overseas), Taskin Ahmed, Saif Hasan, Alex Hales, Usman Khan and Mohammad Mithun. But the team’s performance was nothing special.

On the other hand, even after the end of BPL, the cricketers of Noakhali Express have not received their dues. Even after receiving the cheque, it is bouncing. However, Noakhali Express has applied to clear the dues of the cricketers from the pay order submitted by BCB. According to reports, Sylhet Titans will also apply to BCB. Let us tell you, Dhaka has also given a bank guarantee of five crore taka. It will be encashed when needed and the amount will be paid to domestic and foreign cricketers. However, no application has been given by the team yet.
