The BMW X1 LWB is now on sale in India at Rs 49.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The long-wheelbase version is Rs 1 lakh more affordable than the standard X1, which is currently available at Rs 50.90 lakh. At this price point, the X1 LWB competes with the Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Mini Countryman C.
Power & Performance
Under the hood, the BMW X1 LWB features a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, pushing out a maximum power of 156bhp. Transmission duties are performed by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Bigger, Spacious & More Comfortable
Dimensionally, the long wheelbase version is longer and more spacious than its standard counterpart. Its overall length has been increased by 116mm and wheelbase has been stretched by 108mm, which translates more cabin space. The revised rear seat with 15mm longer base, better cushioning and additional legroom further enhancing passenger comfort. It also comes with seat recline function.
