The much-awaited new 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift is set to hit showrooms next month (July). However, the exact launch date is yet to be announced. The updated model has been spotted testing on multiple occasion, with multiple spy images and videos revealing key design and interior details. Here’re all the key details we know so far about the new Maruti Brezza 2026 facelift.
New Turbo Petrol Engine
A major update will be made under the hood. The new Brezza is expected to borrow the 1.0L turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine from the Fronx, which is good enough for 100bhp and 147Nm of torque. This motor will be paired with a new 6-speed manual gearbox. The existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options might also be carried forward.
Underbody CNG Tank
Similar to the current model, the new 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift will be available with a factory-fitted CNG powertrain. However, it’s expected to come with an underbody-mounted CNG tank, which will free up more usable boot space. The Brezza CNG currently features a 1.5L dual VVT petrol engine, paired with a factory-fitted CNG kit, delivering power worth 86.6bhp and 121.5Nm of torque. It’s available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Design & Features
Spy shots suggest that the facelifted version will feature a wider, newly-designed grille with thicker chrome strip running across the centre, revised bumpers, and a more pronounced silver skid plate. The side and rear profiles are expected to remain largely unchanged.
The overall dimensions of the new Maruti Brezza 2026 facelift are likely to remain unchanged. This means, the SUV will continue to measure 3,995mm in length, 1,790mm in width and 1,685mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,500mm.
Inside, the new Maruti Brezza is expected to offer a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sourced from the Maruti Victoris. Maruti Suzuki might also equip the subcompact SUV with features such as a wireless phone charger, new seat upholstery, ventilated front seat, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an electric sunroof and a 360-degree camera.
