Netanyahu stops security cabinet meeting
According to a statement issued from Netanyahu’s office, he stopped the security cabinet meeting on the Gaza ceasefire and hostage-release agreement to talk to PM Narendra Modi on phone. PM Modi congratulated Netanyahu on the agreement to release all the hostages and said the Israeli leader “has always been his close friend and their friendship will remain strong.” Netanyahu “thanked Prime Minister Modi for his support for Israel and the two agreed to continue working in close cooperation.”

Hamas accepts hostage-ceasefire agreement with Israel
Let us tell you that Hamas has accepted the hostage-ceasefire agreement with Israel. Hamas said the exchange of hostages and Palestinian prisoners would begin within 72 hours of the agreement coming into force. As part of the first phase of a deal to end the war in Gaza, Hamas said it would release 20 surviving hostages in exchange for about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. The agreement includes an end to the war in Gaza, the withdrawal of Israeli forces, the supply of humanitarian aid and an exchange of prisoners.
