Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu humorously responded to rumors of his death and claims of six fingers being seen in the AI video by releasing a video on social media. He also appealed to Israeli citizens to maintain courage and follow security instructions.
Benjamin Netanyahu Viral Video: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video on X. This video came at a time when rumors of his death were spreading rapidly on social media. In this video clip, Netanyahu is seen ordering coffee in a cafe and joking about these rumours.
Netanyahu showed his fingers
Netanyahu said, “I am dying…for coffee.” He used a Hebrew idiom, which roughly means to like something excessively. He further said, “You know what? I am ‘dying’ for my people.” During the video, Netanyahu raises both his hands and points his fingers towards the camera. Earlier, some posts on social media had claimed that in the footage of his press conference held on Thursday, six fingers were visible on one of his hands. This footage was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Netanyahu said, “Do you want to count my fingers? You can see them here..and also here. saw? very nice.”

Encouraging message given to Israeli citizens
In his message to Israeli citizens, Netanyahu said, “Go out and get some fresh air, but stay near a safe place. Your courage is amazing. It gives strength to me, to the government, to the IDF and to the Mossad. We are doing things that I cannot tell about at this time, but we are attacking Iran very strongly, even today. Are you telling me to keep moving forward? I say to all of you…you also move forward. Stay.”
Appeal to follow safety instructions
Netanyahu added, “Obey Home Front Command inspectors at all times. Listen to Home Front Command and city mayors, and always stay near a safe place. We will ease the restrictions as much as we can. And thank you for the coffee, it’s great. I don’t know about the calories.”
Iran threatened to kill Netanyahu
Earlier on Sunday, Iran vowed to “pursue and kill” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “If this criminal child killer is alive, we will continue to pursue him with all our might and kill him,” Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said in a statement. This has happened at a time when the ongoing war between Israel and Iran is on the 16th day. The conflict escalated further after the US and Israel launched joint attacks on Iran last month. The attacks killed Iran’s 86-year-old supreme leader Ali Khamenei and sparked a wider conflict across the Middle East.
America-Israel bombed 15,000 Iranian targets
In response, Iran launched attacks on US military bases in Israel and the Gulf countries, while Israel and the US continued to attack Iranian targets. According to reports, more than 2,000 people have been killed so far in this war, most of whom are from Iran. The Pentagon says US and Israeli forces have struck more than 15,000 targets across Iran since the conflict began.
