Nepal gen z protesrs: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s government collapsed due to fierce protests and violence on Monday-Tuesday in Nepal. The fierce mob burnt the houses of the Prime Minister’s Office and the leaders from Parliament. Many hotels and commercial buildings were burnt. The airport in the capital Kathmandu was also attacked.
Two Indian Airforce aircraft will go to Nepal
Kathmandu Airport was closed in view of unrest. Airlines of India canceled their flights to Nepal. Due to this, more than 400 Indian citizens are trapped at Kathmandu Airport. Relief news has come for these people in trouble. The Government of India is preparing to send special flights to bring Indians stranded at Kathmandu Airport.
According to India Today report, Kathmandu Airport is still closed. The Indian Embassy officials at Kathmandu are in touch with the Nepali army to landing aircraft and set a safe route for citizens. Discussions are on to send two Indian Air Force aircraft from New Delhi.
Protesters set fire in Parliament in Nepal
More than 22 people were reported to have been killed in the violence in Nepal on Monday and Tuesday. Furious protesters on Tuesday set fire to Parliament, President’s Office, Prime Minister’s residence, offices of political parties and homes of leaders. The Nepali Army has handled the security system after the government fell.

Army has been deployed in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. Passengers are trapped due to the closure of the airport. These include hundreds of Indians. They are now waiting for withdrawal. On Tuesday, India issued an advisory for its citizens. They asked to avoid traveling to Nepal until the situation improves. Helpline numbers were also issued for people trapped in Nepal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the increasing violence and described the life of the youth as “heart -wrenching”. He urged the citizens of Nepal to maintain peace.
