Neetu Kapoor on social media today paid tribute to her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, on his fourth death anniversary. The ‘102 Not Out’ actor succumbed to cancer in 2020.
Sharing a heartwarming picture of them together, Neetu Kapoor wrote a simple yet poignant message, “4 years for us life can never be the same without you (sic).”
The post has garnered an outpouring of love and support from fans. One follower wrote, “Some stories never ends #RishiKapoor. Thank you Neetu Ji for sharing (sic).”
Their daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also posted for her father and wrote, “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day #forever #missyousomuch (sic).”
Rakesh Roshan also remembered Rishi on his death anniversary and wrote, “Chintu you are always with us (sic).”
Rishi Kapoor, the father of Ranbir Kapoor, was a celebrated Indian actor who graced numerous Bollywood films. He started his career as a child artist in song ‘Pyar Hua Iqrar Hua’ in his father Raj Kapoor’s film with Nargis, ‘Shree 420’. He made his Bollywood debut later, with Bobby in 1973. Over the course of his glorifying career spanning decades, Rishi Kapoor starred in numerous films. His last film was ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, which released posthumously in 2022.
Rishi Kapoor battled leukemia for two years, ultimately succumbing to the disease on April 30, 2020. He was 67. Prior to his death, he had undergone treatment in New York before returning to India.
