Neetu Chandra Expresses Fear After Shots Fired at Tiger Shroff

Actress Neetu Chandra has voiced her deep concern and fear following the recent firing incident involving actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai.

Initially, she dismissed the news as false, given her long-held belief that Mumbai is a safe city. Speaking to IANS, Neetu shared her shock upon learning the incident was, in fact, true.

“I thought it was a lie because this can’t happen. Mumbai is a very safe place where we live. I started my career 20 years ago and I always felt very safe. I thought it must have happened somewhere else. But when I got all the information, I felt very scared,” Neetu stated. She further highlighted the worrying implications for public safety: “It’s a very dangerous zone. You are going somewhere and you are scared to even speak. You might get shot. It’s a very, very sad feeling, and I got very scared.”

Neetu questioned how such incidents could occur when actors are simply engaged in their work to entertain. She expressed confidence in the Maharashtra and Mumbai Police, whom she considers among the best, to thoroughly investigate the matter and restore Mumbai’s reputation as a safe haven. The firing occurred on Sunday evening near a football club in Juhu. While Tiger Shroff was unharmed, his driver and an autorickshaw driver sustained injuries. Three suspects have since been arrested in Kota, Rajasthan.
