Navratri lights up Noida’s Gulshan Bellina with devotion, creativity and community spirit

New Delhi: Greater Noida West’s Gulshan Bellina is once again alive with colours, music, and devotion as residents gather to celebrate Navratri 2025. The nine-day festival, running from September 22 to October 2, has transformed the society into a vibrant hub of cultural energy and spiritual fervour.

Just a few years ago, Greater Noida West was still a developing township. Today, it has emerged as a cosmopolitan centre where families from across India have made their homes. Residents credit this growth to local leadership — MLA, MP, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath — whose emphasis on law and order and efficient governance has shaped the region’s positive development.

Art, unity and enterprise

The festivities here extend far beyond rituals. Idols for the celebrations are being handcrafted by artists from Bengal, with raw materials sourced from across the country, a reflection of unity and shared cultural heritage.

This year’s pandal stands out with its themes of Ram Mandir and Naari Shakti, illuminated in Sindoor red to pay tribute to the armed forces’ successful Operation Sindoor. From intricate decorations to creative lighting, residents have blended spirituality with artistic expression. The event has also become a platform for entrepreneurship, with stalls selling homemade food, artwork, and household goods.

Culture, devotion and unity

Performances are another highlight, with more than 250 artists presenting Indian classical music, Western acts, theatre, and plays. Daily Bhajan Sandhya and Ramcharitmanas Path, led by senior residents, add a spiritual dimension to the festival. On October 1, a Grand Bhandara is expected to draw over 3,000 people, underscoring the community’s unity in devotion.

The celebrations were set in motion on September 21 with a divine gathering, where residents welcomed Mata at the main pandal with music, prayers, and joy.

As one of the organisers summed up, “Navratri here is not just a celebration — it’s a way to bring people together, celebrate creativity, encourage business, and spread positivity. In our busy lives, these nine days are a true stress-buster.”

The organising team confirmed that the celebrations will be regularly documented, with updates highlighting the enthusiasm and growing energy of Navratri 2025 at Gulshan Bellina.
