- This year, both Ashtami and Navami Tithi of Virgo Pujan are falling. You can worship the girl on 30 September (Ashtami) or 1 October (Navami) according to your tradition.
Correct method of Kanya Pujan
- Selection of girls: For worship, invite nine girls and a child aged 2 to 10 years. The child is considered to be the form of Hanuman ji or Bhairav Baba.
- Welcome and honor: When the girls come, wash their feet and sit them on a clean posture. It is very important to welcome and respect him.
- Pooja: First apply vermilion and rice on the foreheads of all girls. Next, tie a holy thread on their hands and offer flowers to them.
- Food: Feed the whole, pudding and gram to the girls. After meals, give them donations and gifts off. You can gift school items, toys or clothes.
- Farewell: Touch the feet of the girls and seek their blessings. Then, leave them with respect.
