By the time Lord Kartikeya came to Ganesh ji after circling the whole universe, Ganpati Bappa was married.
Kartikeya ji got angry after listening to Lord Ganesha’s marriage and he resolved that he will never marry. When Goddess Parvati came to know about not marrying son Karthikeya, she was very sad and cursed the place where Lord Kartikeya was present at that time.
