What to buy before Navratri?
Before the auspicious occasion of Navratri, you can bring a silver coin, urn, lotus flower, idol or picture of Maa Durga in the house, Shri Yantra, 16 adornments and red sandalwood garlands. All these things have been considered a symbol of happiness, prosperity and arrival of wealth.
Silver coin:- It is considered a symbol of Maa Lakshmi. Bringing a silver coin in Navratri brings wealth and prosperity in the house.
Kalash:- The establishment of Kalash is an important part of Navratri. It is auspicious to bring soil, brass, silver or gold urn into the house. It is said that it gives auspicious results.
Statue or picture of Maa Durga:- You can also bring the statue or picture of Maa Durga during Navratri. It is believed that installing it in the temple brings positive energy to the house and removes Vastu defects.
Shri Yantra:- According to religious belief, it is very auspicious to bring Shri Yantra to the house before Navratri. It is said that it brings wealth and success.

Remove these things before Navratri
Broken things:- Old, torn-toti things such as shoes, slippers, and glass utensils should be removed from the house before Navratri starts.
Old sculptures and photos:- During Navratri, no damaged or broken idol or picture should be kept in the house.
Cut hair and nails:- During Navratri, beard, hair and nail cutting are forbidden, so do this work in advance.
