Nature is not taking the name of havoc in Uttarakhand. A cloudburst in Mopata in Chamoli district caused havoc, two people went missing and many cattle and gaushalas were buried in the rubble. At the same time, the bridge has been washed away in Lavara village of Kedarghati, which has completely broken the contact of the Chhenagad area. The water level of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers in Rudraprayag has gone above the danger mark, sinking many houses and the administration brought the affected families to safe places. The situation is so serious that the Hanuman temple got into the river. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has started monitoring relief work himself. On the other hand, orders have been ordered to be closed today in many districts – Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Haridwar and Pithoragarh – due to continuous heavy rains.
