On the National Service Scheme Foundation Day, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that every work done above personal selfishness is the nation service. He called upon the NSS volunteers to continue active contribution in the field of society and education.
Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that when any work is done above personal selfishness, it becomes a work of service and nation building. He expressed this view at the State Level Foundation Day and Honor Ceremony of the National Service Scheme (NSS) held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur.
Large participation of students in NSS
The Chief Minister said that under the National Service Scheme, more than 4 lakh students across the country are working as volunteers. In Chhattisgarh only, more than 1 lakh students are playing an active role, which is a matter of pride for the state. He congratulated and congratulated the volunteers who did the best work.
From freedom struggle to today’s national service
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that it was considered a nation service to cooperate in the freedom struggle at the time of independence. But today when the country is independent, the meaning of the nation is to contribute to social, economic and cultural development. NSS volunteers are making valuable contribution in this direction.
Diverse forms of nation service
Chief Minister Sai explained to the volunteers that the nation service is not limited to only major actions. Planting a tree, taking someone to the hospital, financial help, cooperating in reading and writing to someone, all these tasks are also part of the nation. He said that NSS volunteers continue to serve with all their heart and contribute to the promotion of education, so that no child is deprived of education.
Government emphasis on employment generation for youth
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that the government is fully committed to providing employment to the youth. Under the new industrial policy, necessary facilities are being provided to entrepreneurs providing employment to industries. An investment proposals of about 7.5 lakh crore rupees have been received in the last 10 months, which will create a large number of employment opportunities in the coming time.

Service makes a sense of character and responsibility

NSS’s role in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Disaster Management
Mr. Verma said that NSS volunteers have played an important role in the success of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He has also contributed significantly in areas like disaster management, environmental protection and health awareness in both urban and rural areas.
Magazine ‘Dedication’ and Developed India Quiz Poster released
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai released the poster of ‘Dedication’ of the National Service Scheme ‘Dedication’ and the developed India Quiz program. Along with this, outstanding institutions, officers and volunteers were also honored.
