Delhi National Lok Adalat will be held on 13 September 2025. The drivers will get a chance to settle Delhi Traffic Police Challan. In this Lok Adalat, which runs in seven court premises, the outstanding traffic challan can be dealt with at low cost.
There is news of great relief for the drivers of the capital. The National Lok Adalat is being organized on Saturday, 13 September 2025 by the Delhi Traffic Police and Delhi State Legal Services Authority. In this Lok Adalat, the outstanding traffic challans and notices can be disposed of quick and in most cases at low cost.
Seven court premises will be organized
The initiative will be held in seven major court premises in Delhi – Patiala House, Karkardooma, Rowse Avenue, Tihar (Tis Hazari), Dwarka, Saket and Rohini. The court proceedings will run from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday.

What did Delhi Traffic Police bid on the challan and disposal of notices
Delhi Traffic Police said in a statement issued on X (East Twitter) on 6 September – “The pending compoundable traffic challans and notices in the National Lok Adalat will be settled on 13 September 2025 from 10 am to 4 pm in all the court premises of Delhi. The driver can take advantage of the opportunity and settle their dues.”
How to download the invoice?
- Challans/notices have to be downloaded and printed in advance.
- For this, the challan can be extracted by scanning the QR code sent by visiting the Delhi Traffic Police website or the Department sent by the department.
- The option to download the challan has been made available from 10 am September 8.
- Maximum 60,000 invoices can be downloaded every day and the total limit is 1,80,000 challans.
- The police have advised that the driver should download the challan quickly so that the process can be completed before the limit is completed.
How many challans will be dealt with?
- For private vehicles: maximum 2 invoices and 5 notices
- For commercial vehicles: maximum 2 invoices or notice
What documents will be needed?
To settle the challan in Lok Adalat, the vehicle owner will have to bring these papers along –
- Copy of challan/notice
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
- Vehicle owner’s identity card (ID proof)
