Naslen, aged 25, achieves success with two films grossing Rs 100 crore; Dulquer Salmaan refers to him as a superstar.

Actor Naslen, who was recently featured in the movie Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra, has emerged as one of the most celebrated figures in Mollywood following his roles in distinctive films that have garnered both critical and commercial success.

At 25, Naslen Dubbed Superstar, Films Generate Rs 100 Crore

A remarkable highlight is that Naslen has achieved not just one, but two films that have entered the Rs 100 crore club. All of this, at the young age of 25, a milestone seldom reached by emerging actors.
In 2024, he gained widespread recognition with Premalu, a romantic comedy directed by Girish A D and produced by Bhavana Studios, Fahadh Faasil and Friends, and Working Class Hero. The film, which also starred Mamitha Baiju, along with Sangeeth Prathap, Akhila Bhargavan, Shyam Mohan, Meenakshi Raveendran, Mathew Thomas, and Althaf Salim, crossed the Rs 100 crore threshold at the box office.
It subsequently became the sixth highest-grossing Malayalam film in history and the fourth highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2024.
In 2025, he received praise for his performance in Alappuzha Gymkhana. While the film did not reach the Rs 100 crore milestone, the Khalid Rahman-directed project earned Rs 65 crore. The cast also included Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi S Poduval, Sandeep Pradeep, Franco Francis, Baby Jean, and Shiva Hariharan.
Another project this year, Lokah, features him in a ‘supporting’ role to Kalyani Priyadarshan, the first female superhero of Malayalam cinema. His willingness to be overshadowed by the ‘heroine’ is commendable. The film is anticipated to surpass Rs 100 crore and is currently the third highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025.
A post shared by Naslen, showcasing him with Lokah producer Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas, has gone viral. Dulquer Salmaan commented on the image with “Edaaaa!!! Superstar”.
Naslen will soon appear in Asif Ali’s Tiki Taka.
