Nandamuri Balakrishna suffers minor injury during ‘NBK111’ shoot

Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna sustained a minor leg injury while filming an action sequence for his upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘NBK111’, in Kakinada.

The incident reportedly occurred while Balakrishna was performing a stunt sequence alongside actor Manchu Manoj. Filming was briefly paused, and the actor was taken to a nearby hospital, where he underwent medical evaluation.

The film’s production team later confirmed that Balakrishna had suffered a minor muscle tear. In an official statement, the makers said doctors had recommended a minor surgical procedure to aid a complete recovery and described the treatment as routine.

The team also assured fans that there was no cause for concern and expressed confidence that the actor would return to the sets after a short period of rest.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, ‘NBK111’ is currently being shot in and around Kakinada. Balakrishna, who is known for performing many of his own action sequences, was reportedly executing the stunt himself when the injury occurred.

Manchu Manoj plays the antagonist in the film, and the sequence being filmed at the time of the incident is said to be an important confrontation between the lead characters.
