Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film “Dada,” directed by Gopichand Malineni, has resumed shooting in Mysore. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner.
Balakrishna, who had been away from the sets following an injury, has now returned and joined the team for the ongoing schedule. The current schedule is focused on the talkie portions, with the actor and other key members of the cast participating in the shoot.
The makers are planning to film several important sequences during this schedule, which is expected to continue for a considerable period.
“Dada” marks the second collaboration between Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni after “Veera Simha Reddy.” The film is being made as a commercial action entertainer, with Balakrishna sporting a rugged and stylish look.
Manoj Manchu and Kajal Aggarwal are playing important roles in the film.
Arvind S Kashyap is handling the cinematography, while S Thaman is composing the music. “Dada” is scheduled for release on December 24, targeting the Christmas holiday season.
