Akhanda 2: Thaandavam has got a new release date. According to the latest reports, this film will now hit the theaters on December 12, 2025. It is being told that the ongoing dispute between the film’s production company 14 Reels Plus Entertainment and Eros Entertainment regarding the outstanding amount has now ended. Both the parties have settled out of court and also informed the court about it. Reportedly, after this, permission has been granted for the release of ‘Akhand 2’, which is indeed a very pleasant news for the audience. But it is being said that the film’s lead hero Nandamuri Balakrishna has paid a heavy price for this.
What is the controversy of ‘Akhand 2’ and how was the whole matter settled?
It is being told that 12 Reels Plus Entertainment had to pay the dues of Rs 28 crore to Eros International. Due to the delay in this, Eros had approached the Madras High Court and got the release of the film banned. Due to this, the film, which was scheduled to hit the theaters on December 5, got postponed. In the reports, quoting sources, it is written that finally the matter has been settled between the makers of the film and Eros on Sunday night.

It is also being claimed in the reports that Nandamuri Balakrishna has agreed to adjust Rs 20 crore from his fees. So that the makers can release the film after paying the dues. With this step of his, the confidence has been further confirmed that the film will now be released without any delay.
‘Akhand 2’ will premiere on December 11
According to reports, Telugu film ‘Akhand 2’ will be released worldwide on December 12. The makers have earlier planned the premiere show of the film on December 11 at 9 pm. However, it has not been officially announced yet. But it is believed that soon the makers will unveil the suspense created about it. Let us tell you that ‘Akhand 2’ has been directed by Boyapati Srinu. Along with NBK, actors like Samyuktha, Harshali Malhotra, Adi Pinisetty and Saswat Chatterjee will also be seen in the film.
