For the unversed, Fatima Sana Shaikh, who played the role of Aamir Khan’s daughter in Nitesh Tiwari’s blockbuster ‘Dangal’, was seen in the role of Aamir Khan’s lover in the film Thugs of Hindostan.

Aamir Khan further told that the director said, “We will not make any romantic track between you and her because she was your daughter in ‘Dangal’. How can she play the role of your girlfriend here? The audience will reject it.” To which Aamir replied, “main in sab baaton par vishvaas nahin karta. main vaastav men uska pitaa nahin hoon, na hi main vaastav men uska premi hoon. hum ek film banaa rahe hain bhai.”
