Dead body found in Omex water escape, suicide claims, suspected of murder
On Sunday night, 26 -year -old Madhu Singh’s body was found hanging in his flat at the Omex Water Escape Society, Sushant Golf City, Lucknow. Madhu was the wife of second officer Anurag Singh in Merchant Navy. Both were married in February this year. The police is describing it as a case of suicide in the initial investigation, but Madhu’s family claims that this is the murder which has been tried to give the form of suicide.

Madhu’s father’s charge: Daughter had told at night, there is a fight
Madhu’s father, Fateh Bahadur Singh told the media that at eight o’clock on Sunday night, Madhu called her elder sister Priya and told that Anurag had assaulted her. He has not been contacted since then. The family came to know on Monday afternoon that Madhu is no longer in this world. He says, “If the incident happened at night, why were we informed in the morning or afternoon? Our daughter has been murdered and she was hanged from the noose.”
Serious allegations of dowry and mental harassment
Madhu’s family has alleged that Anurag was constantly demanding dowry since marriage. The process of assault and threats continued. He told that Madhu was pregnant, but Anurag forcefully miscarried her. Apart from this, Anurag also had relations with other women, causing honey to be under mental stress.
Police investigation continues, waiting for postmortem report
Police say that Anurag came home on leave about 10 days ago and there was a dispute between the two on Sunday night. The body has been sent for postmortem and police investigation is on. Madhu’s father’s father is undergoing an FIR on Tahrir.
