A shocking case of love jihad has come to light in Kshipra police station area under Sanwar Tehsil of Indore district. It is alleged that a young man married the woman by hiding her identity and later forcibly converted.
Not only this, the victim has also accused her father -in -law of rape.
A woman stuck on social media
In the complaint given to the police, the victim told that in the year 2017, she was identified with a young man named Sameer on social media. Sameer described himself as a Hindu and proposed marriage. Without telling the family, the girl reached Indore with Sameer and married the court on 25 October 2017. After marriage, the girl came to know about Sameer’s real identity, she turned out to be Sameer Khan. When the woman protested, she was intimidated and silenced. Later, Sameer forcibly converted him and got the Muslim name and taught Nikah. After this, incidents of assault and torture by Sameer have been continuously happening.
Father -in -law raped, threatened to kill him
The victim said that even during pregnancy, Sameer pressured her to have unnatural sex. Along with this, he has also made serious allegations against his father -in -law lawyer Khan. According to the complaint, on 28 March 2025, when she reached her in -laws to meet her children, she was raped by lawyer Khan alone in the house. Threatened to kill him on protesting. Later on July 12 and 13, lawyer Khan threatened him again over the phone, fearing that he told the whole thing to his relatives and lodged a complaint with the police.
Police protection pleaded
The victim has requested the police to provide protection from the accused to the accused. He said, I want to live a fear -free life with my children, please liberate me from this terror.
Case registered against accused
The police have registered a case against accused Sameer Khan and advocate Khan under Section 63 (D), 64, 115 (2), 351 (3) and Section 3/5 of Madhya Pradesh Religious Freedom Act 2021 against the accused Sameer Khan and Advocate Khan. The search for both the accused is on.
