Muslim man gets special invitation for flag hoisting of Ram temple! After all, who is Noor Alam?

The religious flag will be hoisted on the 191 feet high peak of Ram temple in Ayodhya today. PM Modi will attend the program. Meanwhile, Noor Alam has also received a special invitation, who became famous for serving 20 thousand devotees during Pran Pratistha.

The religious flag will be hoisted on the 191 feet high peak of Ram temple in Ayodhya this afternoon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also arriving to attend this ceremony. With the hoisting of the flag, the construction of Ram temple will be formally considered complete. Noor Alam’s name is also included among the select people to whom invitations have been sent in this special event.

Noor Alam is the same person who came into limelight last year during the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha on 22 January 2024. Yusuf Ara Machine, built on his ancestral land adjacent to the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, became a shelter for thousands of devotees at that time.

Bhandara, accommodation and service for 20 thousand Ram devotees

During Pran Pratistha, Noor Alam had arranged for food and accommodation for about 20 thousand people on his land. Under the supervision of the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, continuous arrangements for food, tea-snacks and shelter were made here. Even today, he keeps arranging tea and breakfast for the laborers engaged in the construction of the temple and their families.

According to him, this place is not just a business but a center of service. A permanent kitchen is being operated here, so that no devotee faces shortage of food when needed.

“We are neighbors of Lord Ram, there is no greater honor than this.”

On receiving the invitation for the religious flag hoisting ceremony, Noor Alam said, “We have been living here for many generations. We are known as the neighbors of Lord Shri Ram. This invitation is not an honor for us, but a good fortune. The opportunity to see history being made does not come again and again in life.”

He further says, “After Pran Pratistha, there is such an atmosphere in Ayodhya that every person is happy. No one is unhappy here, God’s blessings are on everyone.”

Proud to be a neighbor beyond words

On being neighbors of Ram Lalla, he said emotionally, “There are no words to express how proud we are. This is Lord Ram’s palace and we are his subjects. Ayodhya is celebrating today, and we consider it our privilege to be a part of that celebration.”

Noor Alam’s land is adjacent to the Ram Mandir complex. He has a saw machine business at this place and also lives with his family here. This place has now become the center of service for thousands of devotees.

“If necessary, I will even change my profession.”

Noor Alam says that service is the greatest worship.

If needed for temple work, I am ready to change my business also. Whatever has to be done, I will do.

Dharma flag hoisting: New chapter for Ayodhya

Today, when the religious flag will hoist on the main peak, it will not only be the physical completion of the temple, but will also be a celebration of the age-old faith of Ayodhya. The participation of neighbors like Noor Alam in this festival is proof that the soul of Ayodhya is not only made up of religion, but also of humanity, co-existence and service.
