He had a fight with his wife Shrutiand started beating her. In self-defense, Shruti hit him with a stick which resulted in his death.
A shocking news has come from Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru. Here a woman killed her husband in self-defense. It is being told that a 42-year-old engineer living in Suddaguntepalya in South Bengaluru died in his sleep after a fight with his wife.
Actually, the whole incident is of 27th June. A person named Bhaskar came to his house in Bhavani Nagar to take his SUV. He was staying away from his family for about 2 months. He was allegedly living with the domestic maid, with whom he was having an affair. During this time, the man had an altercation with his wife Shruti.
What did the police say about the whole matter?
TOI’s report quoted the police as saying that when Bhaskar reached his home around midnight, he was very drunk. When he was about to leave with his car, his wife tried to stop him and told him not to leave in a drunken state and leave in the morning. However, the man did not listen.
This argument between the two escalated. Later, the situation escalated to a scuffle. Bhaskar started beating his wife. During this, his wife took a step in self-defense and attacked her husband with a stick. After some time, Bhaskar fell down. The wife thought that he had fallen asleep, however, in the morning it was found out that Bhaskar had died.
Shruti lied first
During the initial investigation, Shruti said that Bhaskar slipped and fell in the bathroom the previous night. However, the police did not believe Shruti’s statement. The police sent the body of the deceased Bhaskar for post-mortem, which found that Bhaskar died due to injuries.
During interrogation, Shruti told that when her husband Bhaskar was beating her, she took a step of self-defense and reacted. Shruti says that she did not intend to kill her husband. Police are now investigating the matter.
