Here, a girl’s love affair on Instagram turned scary when her lover, who had been jailed in a murder case, got so upset with his girlfriend’s refusal after being released on bail that he kidnapped her at knifepoint in the middle of the road. The police acted swiftly and recovered the girl safely within 12 hours and arrested the accused and sent him to jail.
How did friendship on Instagram turn into creepy love?
Two years ago, a girl from Bengaluru met a mechanic Ranga on Instagram. Their chatting gradually turned into friendship and then love. Ranga’s behavior was normal in the beginning, but with time he started becoming very possessive. The girl came to know about this when in February 2024 she came to know that Ranga had been arrested in the case of murder of a person named Bhadra for his friend Chetan.
Could the love relationship last till jail?
The girl was completely broken after Ranga’s arrest. She understood that the person she loved was an accused in a murder case. She immediately broke all relations with Ranga, blocked his number, social media accounts and even deleted her Instagram account. But after coming out of jail on bail, Ranga’s passion increased further. He wanted to establish a relationship with the girl again at any cost, whereas the girl no longer wanted any kind of contact with him.
Kidnapped from the middle of the road at knife point
Ranga started harassing the girl again and again. He would follow her till her college, stand outside her house and issue threats over the phone. The girl and her family tried to explain several times, but Ranga did not agree. A few days ago, he kidnapped the girl from the middle of the road at knife point. This incident created a stir in the area.
Police quickly revealed the secret, the accused went back to jail
As soon as information about the incident was received, Batarayanpura police swung into action. Within 12 hours, the team arrested Ranga and his associate and recovered the girl safely and handed her over to the family.
