Shiv Sena can be eliminated from paper but not from land – Uddhav Thackeray
Taking a jibe at BJP, Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘You can eliminate Shiv Sena on paper, not on land. BJP is visible only on paper, not on the ground. He accused Mahayuti of using government machinery, money and pressure, but also claimed that the loyalty of Shiv Sainiks is still unwavering. Comparing the rallies, Uddhav sneered that there was a huge crowd in his and Raj Thackeray’s rallies, while chairs were seen empty in the Maha-Yuti’s rallies. He sarcastically said, ‘I don’t know whether the chairs cast their votes or the people cast their votes.’ In the end, Uddhav Thackeray clearly indicated that this political war is not over yet. BMC may have gone out of control, but the Thackeray faction still considers itself a strong contender in Mumbai politics.
