In this case, a case of attempt to murder and domestic violence has now been registered against the husband. When the 14-year-old daughter was sleeping, the father came into her room and slit her throat. During this, the girl screamed loudly in pain. Hearing the daughter’s scream, the mother ran to save her, but the accused husband also attacked his wife. The accused who tried to murder his wife and daughter has been identified as Hanumant Sonawale. Hanumant Sonawale, who doubted his wife’s character, started quarreling with his wife Rajshree after drinking alcohol and then attacked her sleeping daughter. Later the police arrested the accused.
Initial investigation revealed that accused Hanumant Sonawale did not have any job. In addition, he drank too much alcohol. Due to being unemployed, doubts had arisen in his mind about his wife’s character. That’s why he repeatedly questioned his behavior. Even on the day of the incident, he started a fight by doubting his wife’s character. When the fight escalated, the accused attacked the sleeping daughter with a blade and slit her throat. During this time, when the wife tried to intervene, he was also attacked.
Fed up with her husband’s actions, the wife had recently filed for divorce and had talked to a lawyer. This made him even more upset. Due to the father’s attack, the daughter got five stitches in her neck. Both mother and daughter are undergoing treatment at Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivali. A case of attempt to murder and domestic violence has now been registered against the accused.
