According to the report of the Indian Express, the police said that Ashwini Kumar had sent a threatening message to implicate his old friend Feroz. Two years ago, on Feroz’s complaint, Ashwini Kumar had to spend three months in jail. That is why he had planned to put Feroz’s name in a threatening message and implicate it in the case of terrorism.
On Thursday, this message came on the WhatsApp helpline number of Mumbai Traffic Police. The message said that 14 Pakistani terrorists have entered the city with 400 kg RDX and 34 human bombs. The police received this message before the end of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, which lasted for 10 days. After this, the police started investigation.
Police said that Ashwini Kumar Suresh Kumar Supriya, who hails from Patna, sent this message. His mobile phone was switch off. He was arrested from Noida Sector 79 and handed over to Mumbai Police. According to NDTV report, police sources said that Ashwini Kumar is an astrologer and businessman. The accused who gave him a SIM card has been arrested from Sorakha.
Police said that the traffic police have received threatening messages of such bombs earlier also. People do not need to panic. Security has been increased in major places. The police have appealed to the people not to pay attention to the rumors and if they see anything suspicious, they should inform immediately.
The Mumbai Police had earlier said that the name of ‘Lashkar-e-Jihadi’ was also in the threatened message. Police sources said that the anti -terrorism squad has also been informed about threatening messages. During the Ganeshotsav, more than 21,000 policemen have been deployed in the city at the time of immersion.
