Situation is bad due to cold wave in Bhopal

Madhya Pradesh has been facing severe cold for the last three days and the condition of the people is miserable. Due to severe cold, dense fog is prevailing in more than half the districts of the state. The condition is worst due to cold wave in the capital Bhopal. Which has reminded the city residents of the winter of 100.

100 years of winter came in Bhopal

According to Madhya Pradesh Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours the minimum temperature of Bhopal has been recorded at 3.8 degrees and the maximum has been recorded at 18 degrees. According to IMD, such a drop in temperature in the month of January has been seen for the sixth time in the last 100 years. Before this there had been such severe cold 5 times.

Temperature remained 2 degrees in this city of MP

According to the Meteorological Department, the coldest district in the state was Rajgarh, where the temperature was recorded at 2 degrees. So the highest temperature was in Khargone, where the minimum temperature was 9 degrees. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of cold wave in Bhopal, Sehore, Rajgarh and Shajapur on Wednesday.

Holiday announced in many districts

It is so severe cold in MP that the education department of the state has declared holiday till January 7 in many districts. It is being told that if the temperature does not rise then this holiday can be extended for two to three more days. The districts where there is holiday currently include schools in Indore, Raisen, Gwalior and Narmadapuram. So the timing of schools in many districts including Bhopal has been changed.

Flights and trains canceled in Bhopal

The situation in Bhopal is that the visibility of Rajabhoj airport was 100 meters. Due to which many flights were cancelled. At the same time, all the trains coming towards Bhopal are arriving late by 4 to 6 hours. The weather department has said that there will be severe cold for 2-3 more days.
