Madhya Pradesh Weather News: In Madhya Pradesh, the monsoon is once again on its own. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy rain alert for more than 15 districts of the state. The rains between the upcoming festival Teej and Ganesh Chaturthi can affect the plan of the people.

Due to the monsoon turf line, active cyclonic circulation and low pressure area passing through the upper part of Madhya Pradesh, the process of rain continues in the state. In the last 24 hours, 30 districts including Bhopal, Gwalior, Rewa, Sheopur, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur recorded rain. Somewhere light or torrential rains made the weather pleasant.

In the last 24 hours, Gwalior and Rewa recorded 1.3 inches in Khajuraho, 1.2 inches in Pachmarhi and 1 inch in Umaria. Apart from this, many districts including Guna, Ratlam, Betul, Damoh, Mandla, Shivpuri, Sehore, Morena received light to moderate rains.

Meteorologists say that rain pressure has increased in Madhya Pradesh due to moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal and active low pressure area. Due to cyclonic circulation, this period of rain will continue in the state till August 29.
