MP: Signing of power projects worth Rs 60 thousand crore in the presence of CM Mohan Yadav. Madhya Pradesh 4000 Mw Power Project Agreement Mohan Yadav

Power supply agreement was signed for production of 4,000 MW electricity in Madhya Pradesh. New power plants will be set up in Anuppur at a cost of Rs 60 thousand crores. This will provide employment to 8 thousand people and power supply will be strengthened.

Bhopal. The Power Supply Agreement (PSA) related to the supply of 4,000 MW power was signed at Samatva Bhawan (Chief Minister’s residence) on Tuesday in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. This agreement is being considered a big step towards strengthening the energy needs of the state. In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Managing Director of MP Power Management Company, Mr. Vishesh Garhpale, Mr. Jigish Mehta of Torrent Power Limited, Mr. S.B. of Adani Power Limited. Power supply agreement was exchanged between Khilya and Mr. Ratul Puri of Hindustan Thermal Projects. The new power houses to be established by all these companies will be set up in Anuppur district.

Foundation of permanent residence for Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the importance of electricity is like life in the human body. Just as life is necessary for the functioning of the body, similarly availability of adequate electricity is necessary for the development and progress of a state. He said that this 4,000 MW power production agreement to be signed at a cost of Rs 60 thousand crore will become the foundation for the sustainable development of the state. This will not only increase the power generation capacity, but will also make it possible to supply 100 percent electricity demand of the state.

8,000 people will get employment from new power plants

The new power plants will be set up on the Design, Build, Finance, Own and Operate (DBFOO) model. These projects are likely to provide direct and indirect employment to about 8,000 people, which will boost economic activities at the local level.

Madhya Pradesh becomes the first choice of investors

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to industry friendly policies, strong infrastructure and good governance based system, Madhya Pradesh is becoming the first choice of investors and industrial groups from the country and abroad. He said that for power generation, better coordination of resources like land, water, environment, coal and railway line is necessary and Madhya Pradesh is completely suitable in all these matters.

New opportunities will come from renewable energy and PM Mitra Park

The Chief Minister said that the state has also made remarkable achievements in the field of renewable energy. On the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state got PM Mitra Park, which will become a medium for new development opportunities and employment generation on a large scale. Along with this, the state government has decided to celebrate the year 2026 as Farmer Welfare Year. This will give special impetus to entrepreneurship, self-employment and food processing industry.
