Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav flagged off the Bhopal-Dhanbad-Chaupan Express. This train will go to Singrauli 3 days a week, Dhanbad 3 days and Chaupan 1 day. Redevelopment of 80 stations in the state and doubling of railway lines will give impetus to development.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav flagged off the Bhopal-Dhanbad-Chaupan Express from the main railway station of Bhopal on Tuesday evening. This new train will go directly to Singrauli three days a week, three days to Dhanbad and one day to Chaupan. The route of the train will be via Bina-Sagar-Mudwara. With this new service, direct rail facility will be available between Bhopal and Singrauli seven days a week, which will provide great relief to the passengers.

Madhya Pradesh is getting new trains and modern railway facilities

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is continuously getting the gift of new trains and modern railway facilities. Starting direct rail service from state capital Bhopal to energy capital Singrauli seven days a week is a big step. This will benefit not only Madhya Pradesh but also passengers from other states. He said that this new rail service will write a new chapter of development and connectivity.

Union Cabinet approves: Jabalpur-Gondia rail line doubling

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the doubling of Jabalpur-Gondia railway line has been approved in the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that even before this, Madhya Pradesh has been blessed with many important projects keeping in mind the Indore-Manmad rail line and Simhastha. With these projects, the railway infrastructure of the state is being further strengthened.

Amrit Bharat Station Scheme: 80 stations will be rejuvenated

The Chief Minister said that modern railway facilities are being developed in Madhya Pradesh like foreign countries. The state has got 24 times more budget in the railway budget. Six Amrit Bharat stations of the state – Katni South, Narmadapuram, Orchha, Seoni, Shajapur and Shridham are being redeveloped. Apart from this, 80 railway stations of the state are being rejuvenated. Modern facilities will be provided to the passengers at a cost of about Rs. 3.25 thousand crores.

New momentum for Sidhi-Singrauli region, new path of development

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this day has been made memorable with the cooperation of Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, Sidhi-Singrauli region, which was considered backward for a long time, is now connected to Bhopal with daily rail connectivity. He said the train will run all seven days, even if its destinations are three different. This arrangement is not just an operational plan, but an important step towards future development.

The Chief Minister said that doubling of Jabalpur-Gondia railway line will boost tourism, religious activities and trade. In forest areas where there was once a problem of Naxalism, better rail facilities will give a new impetus to development. He expressed confidence that better rail connectivity will increase the importance of Mahakaushal area and economic activities will accelerate.
