CM Mohan Yadav Flood Visit: The situation has become very serious after the recent rains and floods in Guna district. The havoc from the sky has disturbed many areas. In such a situation, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav himself made a ground tour to review relief and rehabilitation works and assured people “No one needs to worry, the government is standing with you in every situation.”
Relief amount will reach direct accounts directly through direct benefit transfer
The Chief Minister announced that all the affected families would be surveyed immediately and the assistance will be put directly into their accounts through the ‘Direct Benefit Transfer’. The intention of the government is to help every needy without any delay or middleman.

Inspection of flood -affected areas in Guna, Scindia also stayed with
On Monday, the Chief Minister inspected rain -affected areas like Patel Nagar, Cantt area and Pawan Colony located on New Tekri Road. He was accompanied by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Both of them went door-to-door interaction with the affected and understood their needs.
32 -year record broken, 170 people successfully rescued
The Chief Minister informed that the recent rains have broken the record of 32 years, causing an unprecedented crisis in the district. The administration faced this challenge with courage and dedication. A total of 170 people, including an elderly woman from Guna New City Colony, were evacuated safely.
70 -member team and social workers of NDRF handled the responsibility
The 70 -member NDRF team saved the lives of hundreds of people by conducting rescue operations in flood affected areas. At the same time, local administration and social organizations together provided basic facilities like food, medicines, clothes and temporary shelter site. The Chief Minister said that according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of more rain in the coming days, so the administration and public representatives will have to take full vigilance. He appealed to the public to avoid rumors and follow the administration’s instructions.
Sisters tied Rakhi on Rakshabandhan, Chief Minister expressed gratitude
The women of the flood affected areas tied a rakhi to the Chief Minister and gave him intimate welcome. On this, Dr. Mohan Yadav thanked all the sisters and said that the government will stand with them in every situation and they will not have to face any difficulty alone.
