In Orchha, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav laid the foundation stone of the second phase of Shri Ram Raja Lok and gave a gift of Rs 332 crore. He announced a steel plant and helicopter scheme worth Rs 3500 crore. Dalmia India gets tourism project contract.
Today a new page of history was added to Orchha, the city of Lord Shri Ram. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave a gift of Rs 332 crore while laying the foundation stone of the second phase of Shri Ram Raja Lok. At this confluence of bright lights, reverence and culture, the Chief Minister made several ambitious announcements — Orchha will now be linked to the Tourism Board’s helicopter scheme, and Niwari will be made a new destination for both industry and tourism.
The second phase of Shri Ram Raja Lok will be built at a cost of Rs 132 crore.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this is not just a development project but a renaissance of faith. He visited the model and exhibition of Shri Ram Raja Lok in Orchha and informed that Rs 132 crore will be spent on the construction of the second phase. This folk will bring alive the five centuries old glory of Lord Shri Ram by combining it with modern artistry.

Dalmia Bharat Company gets agreement for tourism project
On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Board handed over the Letter of Award to Dalmia Bharat Company. With this agreement, tourism facilities will expand in the state and Orchha will get promotion at the global level. The Chief Minister said that the cultural identity of the state is being strengthened through tourism.
“The splendor of Orchha will now come alive again”
The Chief Minister said, “Today, the 500 year old glory of Shri Raja Ram is coming alive again in Orchha. The supernatural experience of having darshan of Lord Shri Ram’s court here cannot be captured in words.” He said that the state government is making every possible effort to make Orchha an international center of religious tourism.
Religious heritage scheme worth Rs 2200 crore – Leela places will get a new look
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has started a project worth Rs 2200 crore to develop Orchha Dham, Chitrakoot Dham and Shri Ram Van Gaman Path. Along with this, the places of worship of Lord Krishna like Ujjain and Janapav are also being converted into pilgrimage sites. He said, “It is our resolve to connect the places of worship of Lord Ram and Krishna with modern development.”
Niwari got the gift of steel plant worth Rs 3500 crore
The Chief Minister announced that a steel plant will be set up in Niwari district at a cost of Rs 3500 crore, which will be inaugurated in a few months. He said that this project will create new employment opportunities and the problem of migration in Bundelkhand region will end.
Relief schemes for farmers, dear sisters and youth
Dr. Yadav said that the government is dedicated to the welfare of the public.
- Assistance amount is being sent to the dear sisters.
- Direct assistance is being given in the accounts of farmers.
- Fees, uniform, books and laptop facilities are being provided to the children.
He said that in the coming times, Bundelkhand will benefit on a large scale from the Ken-Betwa Link Scheme.
Orchha will be connected to the helicopter scheme, Niwari will get the status of municipality.
The Chief Minister announced that Orchha will be linked to the helicopter scheme of the Tourism Board to take religious tourism to new heights. Also, construction of a new road in Niwari, upgradation of the primary health center in Negua, and the process of giving municipality status to Niwari will begin.
“Pilgrimage centers will become the places of worship of God”
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has been built in Ayodhya, and now Orchha Dham situated on the banks of Betwa river is testifying to the same divinity. Describing it as a ‘confluence of religion and development’, he said that “the places of God’s pastimes here will now become living pilgrimage sites and will once again reveal the cultural soul of India.”
