Harda lpg suicide case: A shocking incident has come to light from Harda district of Madhya Pradesh, which shocked the entire area. 35 -year -old Laxminarayan Kewat, working as a peon in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, committed suicide by putting a pipe of LPG gas cylinder directly in his rented house. This case not just a suicide, but highlights online gaming addiction and the dangerous truth associated with debt of millions of rupees.
How did the incident happen?
This tragic incident occurred in a rented house in Harda at around 9.30 pm on Saturday night. An LPG cylinder was placed in the room, whose regulator was open and rubber pipe was directly inserted into the deceased’s mouth. He suffocated with the rapid effect of gas and died shortly after. According to the police, his body was completely swollen due to exposure to gas.
What was the reason for suicide?
Initial investigation revealed that Lakshminarayan was accustomed to online gaming for a long time. He had taken a loan of lakhs of rupees due to continuous losing, which he was unable to repay. Financial constraints and mental stress forced him to take suicidal steps.

What does the family say?
The deceased’s elder brother Kailash said that he came to know about the incident from the sister living in the neighborhood. When they reached the spot, the scene was extremely frightening-the pipe of the cylinder was in the mouth of the deceased. Seeing this view, there was mourning in the whole family.
Police action and investigation
The Kishanganj police registered a case and sent the body for postmortem. At the same time, it is also being investigated that what was the actual amount of debt on the deceased and which people had a hand in it. The police is also trying to find out if anyone instigated him to commit suicide.
