In Balaghat, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav honored 60 police personnel who showed courage in the Naxal-free operation by giving them promotions. In the programme, emphasis was laid on tribute to martyrs, inauguration of police stations and success in eradication of Naxalism.

Bhopal. In a program organized in Balaghat district today, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav honored 60 Madhya Pradesh Police personnel who displayed indomitable courage and bravery during the Naxal-free campaign by giving them pre-emptive promotion. This honor was dedicated to the remarkable contribution of the soldiers in eradicating Naxalism. During the programme, the Chief Minister was given a guard of honor when he reached Balaghat Police Line. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid tribute to the soldiers who were martyred for the peace and security of the state by offering a floral wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti.

Inauguration of 32 police stations of ISO standards, release of Naxal memoir book

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated 32 police stations and other government offices of Balaghat district with one click, which have been prepared as per ISO standards. Related certificates were also given from the stage. On this occasion, the soulful song “Woh Banke Albele – Jo Wapas Na Laute – Iss Mitti Ki Bete” presented by the police personnel made everyone emotional. The Chief Minister also released the book “Naxal Memoirs”.

Balaghat’s self-confidence ended the tough Naxal challenge

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there is strength in the name of Balaghat. On the strength of its self-confidence and strong will, this district has shown the end of a difficult Naxal challenge like the Himalayas.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, an environment of Naxal eradication was created across the country. Madhya Pradesh Police conducted a campaign with effective strategy and forced the Naxalites to kneel down and gave the last salute to “Lal Salaam” in the state.

The role of the brave soldiers of Hawk Force in eradicating Naxal was highly commendable. Where once there was an atmosphere of violence and fear, today peace and development have returned. The Chief Minister said with pride that now the land of Madhya Pradesh is completely Naxal free.

38 policemen and 27 civilians martyred in Naxal violence

The operations continued despite challenges such as monsoon and wild animals. The 10 most dangerous hardcore Naxalites have been killed so far in the year 2025. The police force effectively implemented the government’s “surrender or be killed” message.

Special focus on development and education in Naxal affected areas

The government has given priority to development so that Naxalites do not get a chance to establish themselves again in the future. 250 Naxal affected schools have been renovated in Balaghat district. Single Facilitation Center for local citizens, forest rights leases to tribal communities, caste certificates and employment camps have been introduced. The Chief Minister said that this is the year of agricultural welfare and soon the Agriculture Cabinet will be organized in Balaghat. Amar Jawan Jyoti will be established in Balaghat as a memorial of Naxal free campaign.

Positive results of Naxal eradication under the leadership of Prime Minister

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the action taken against terrorism and Naxalism under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has yielded positive and concrete results. Due to the strong will of Hawk Force and clear policy of the government, Madhya Pradesh has become a Naxal-free state before the deadline. The Chief Minister reiterated his appeal to the Naxalites to return to the mainstream and surrender.
