Seoni Hawala Case: SDOP Pooja Pandey in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh has been suspended by Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana. He has been accused of suppressing Rs 1.5 crore through hawala.

Madhya Pradesh Police: A woman police officer from Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, lost her good job because of a little greed. We are talking about Seoni SDOP Pooja Pandey, who has been accused of suppressing Rs 1.5 crore through hawala. After these allegations, taking major action against Pooja Pandey, State Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana has issued an order suspending the female SDOP with immediate effect. Apart from this, 9 policemen have also been suspended in this case.

Police caught three crores and told one and a half crores

Actually, SDOP Pooja Pandey is accused of being the person from Nagpur who was caught by Bandol Police during checking at NH-44 Shiladehi Bypass Seoni on the night of 8 October 2025 with Rs 3 crore in cash. But the report mentioned the seizure as only Rs 1 crore 45 lakh. Overall, more than half the money has been hidden. Pooja Pandey was leading this case and she did not inform the entire amount to her senior officers.

SDOP Pooja Pandey’s dark exploits were revealed like this

Let us tell you that a person named Sohan Parmar from Nagpur had given a complaint to the police that he was going to Jalna in Maharashtra by car with Rs 2 crore 96 thousand 500 from a bullion trader from Katni on Wednesday night. But at night, SDOP Pooja Pandey, Bandol police station in-charge Arpit Bhairam stopped the vehicle in the name of investigation. Took the entire amount from me and I was released, but did not return the money. That means the lady police officer along with her team embezzled around Rs 1.5 crore. It is said that when senior officers asked Pooja Pandey and 9 policemen for information about this matter, they did not give proper information to the officers, and everyone had different statements. After this the IG ordered suspension of 9 policemen. Let us tell you that this action is based on the report received from Inspector General (IG) Jabalpur Zone.
