Cough Syrup Case Latest News: The series of deaths of children due to drinking poisonous cough syrup in Madhya Pradesh is not stopping. Now this figure has increased to 23. The two innocent children who died on Tuesday have been identified as 3-year-old Vedant and 2-year-old Jayusha Yaduvanshi. Both of them died during treatment in Nagpur. Let us tell you that Deputy CM and State Health Minister Rajendra Shukla had reached Nagpur to see these children. While talking to the journalists, he said that the owner of the syrup manufacturing company will also be arrested.

Actually, Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla had reached Nagpur on Tuesday night, from here he reached Chhindwara in the morning where he also met the families of the deceased children. During this, he said on the matter of deaths due to cough syrup, “A police team from Chhindwara has been sent to Chennai and Kanchipuram to arrest the owner of the company manufacturing ‘Coldrif’ cough syrup.

Deputy CM made an appeal to doctors
Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla said that I urge the doctors not to go on strike and they should follow the advice of the Government of India in which it has been said not to prescribe any cold syrup to children below four years of age. We are making every possible effort to take care of the children admitted in many hospitals of Nagpur, and the Madhya Pradesh government will bear the entire cost of treatment of the children.
Rahul Gandhi will go to Chhindwara to meet the families of the deceased children.
There is news that Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi can reach Chhindwara on 11 or 12 October. According to Congress Party sources, Rahul Gandhi will visit Parasia to meet the families of the children who died from the Cup Syrup Company and those who are sick due to it. Let us tell you that the Chief Minister of the state, Dr. Mohan Yadav has also gone to Chhindwara to meet the families of the deceased children.
