During the NSG show in Bhopal, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stressed on the strength of the security forces. He talked about modernization of ATS and CTG, establishment of new training centers and strict dealing with terrorism.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Indian culture teaches us to wish happiness for everyone, but under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the world has understood that if anyone provokes India, it will be answered in the same language. He said that extremist forces are a big obstacle in the development of the country and it is necessary to deal with them strictly.
NSG: Strong security shield of the country
The Chief Minister described the National Security Guard (NSG) as the impenetrable shield of internal security of the country. He said that whenever there has been any kind of terrorist or abnormal situation in the country, the readiness of NSG has made the people feel safe. This force is renowned throughout the world for its professionalism, discipline and technical proficiency.
NSG’s spectacular performance at Red Parade Ground
On Monday, the Chief Minister participated in the NSG show organized at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal and praised the performance of the commandos. During this, the soldiers demonstrated how terrorist attacks are dealt with by demonstrating a real-life mock terrorist attack. The Chief Minister described it as a symbol of courage, bravery and excellent training. He said that such training is very important to deal with all types of challenges in water, land and air.
Plan for modernization of security forces
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government will further strengthen the security forces, ATS and CTG. He informed that a DPR worth Rs 200 crore has been prepared for the modernization of CTG and work will start in this direction soon.
State-of-the-art training center will be built in Bhopal
The Chief Minister announced that a state-of-the-art training center would be set up in village Tumra of Huzur tehsil of Bhopal district. This center will train security forces to deal with terrorism and emergencies. He said that Madhya Pradesh is located in the center of the country, hence this center will also play an important role in national security.
Highlighting the role of ATS and CTG
The Chief Minister said that the state’s ATS is a strong bulwark against terrorism, while the CTG is an effective assault unit equipped with modern weapons and technology. The government is continuously making efforts to further strengthen both of them.
History and importance of NSG
The Chief Minister said that NSG was established in the year 1984. Referring to the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, he said that earlier the security system was not so strong, but today due to NSG the security system of the country has become much stronger. The slogan of NSG is ‘Best Security Everywhere’, which clearly explains its objective.
Contribution of security forces and control on Naxalism
The Chief Minister said that the country has controlled the 35 year old problem of Naxalism to a great extent and Madhya Pradesh has become completely Naxal free. Security forces have played a big role in this. He said that India is becoming one of the most powerful countries in the world today.
Duration and objectives of the training program
Director General of Police Kailash Makwana said that the joint training program of NSG and Madhya Pradesh Police will run from April 7 to May 4, 2026. During this period, soldiers will be given training on eight major subjects including counter terrorism. He said that this will improve the skills, techniques and capabilities of the soldiers and they will be ready for new challenges.
Address by NSG and police officers
NSG Director General B. Srinivasan said that police personnel join NSG on the basis of their qualification. He told that ATS and CTG of Madhya Pradesh are providing good services. He informed that till now 1,164 personnel of Madhya Pradesh Police and about 26,000 personnel from across the country have been trained.

At the end of the program, the Chief Minister was welcomed by presenting a sapling and was also given a symbol. The Chief Minister encouraged the soldiers undergoing training by taking a group photo with them.
