Collectors-Commissioners Conference-2025: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the first session of Collectors-Community Conference-2025 on Tuesday. He told the farmers which farming gives benefits and which crop should be planted.

Bhopsl News: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that our state is based on agricultural produce. Therefore, the basic goal of the government is to promote natural and organic farming and increase the area of ​​horticulture crops as compared to agricultural crops. We also have to create new opportunities for entrepreneurship in these areas. All collectors encourage farmers to do natural and organic farming in their respective districts. Provide all possible help to them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the first session ‘Agricultural and Allied Sectors’ of Collectors-Competers Conference-2025 on Tuesday.

Farming should be done only on scientific basis

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our rural youth should become agricultural entrepreneurs in the coming time, for this we have to try together. He said that taking farming towards organic farming is a big challenge, but we have to cross this challenge. The Chief Minister said that by encouraging Mr. Ann i.e. Millets, our goal is also our goal, we will have to make concrete efforts in this direction also. Farmers have to shift from traditional farming and take them to income enhancing works like horticulture, milk production and fisheries. Banana, orange, tomato and other horticulture crops are largely in large quantities in the state. We also have to arrange for processing at the local level and marketing to the big markets. The Chief Minister said that fertilizer in crops should be consumed only on scientific basis. If it is not happening then it is necessary to control it.

CM gave target to all collector

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all the collectors should ensure the sale of natural and organic farming yield in the weekly market, Haat markets in their respective districts. Also, encourage farmers by explaining to the cultivation of cash crops. Campaign for this. He said that in all the collector districts, 100-100 farmers should be motivated for natural farming and keep their records and also study the benefits of their natural farming. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that horticulture crops ie horticulture should be promoted in the state. He praised the cultivation of roses in Guna district and said that the farmers there have taken a very progressive step. Rose cultivation should also be promoted in all religious cities of the state, so that rose production can be consumed at the local level. The Chief Minister said that all the collector should also keep intensive monitoring of the auction rate of soybean crop in the agricultural produce market.

Publicity the Bhavantar Yojana

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Bhavantar Yojana should also be promoted on a large scale. Farmers have to get the most benefit of this scheme and this should also reach them. For the proper implementation of Bhavantar Yojana, all the collector should provide maximum benefits to the farmers by hard work and dedication.

Strict action will be taken on burning stubble

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed concern over Parali and said that strictly curb the incidents of burning of stubborn/narcissation in the state. For this, develop active control mechanisms and also increase monitoring by doing special focus on such events. Collectors should advise the farmers not to burn the stubble/narcissation to the farmers. Farmers should be told about other options for stubble execution, so that they do not get rid of stubble burning.

Agricultural Production Commissioner gave presentation

Agriculture and Allied Sector Sessions were conducted by Agriculture Production Commissioner Mr. Ashok Varnwal and gave a presentation. In this session, subjects like propagation of natural farming, climate friendly crops, production of horticulture crops, productivity-centered clusters, micro irrigation, cage culture for fisheries and selective breeding, crop residue management, fertilizer and seed system, Bhavantar Payment Scheme for Soybean, Bhavantar Payment Plan for Soybean, Milk Production and Gaushala management were detailed on topics. Agriculture Production Commissioner Shri Varnwal asked the collectors to promote the use of village-village farming seminars and the use of equipment like Happy Cedar, Super Cedar and Beller for this purpose, calling the crop residue management (stubble execution control) a special priority of the government. He said that the sanctioned works in the districts should be completed in a timely manner. Fertilizer arrangements for Rabi 2025-26 were also discussed in the session. In the session, Secretaries of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation (Fisheries) Department also informed about their departmental plans and achievements.

Excellent work on agriculture and horticulture being done in five districts

In the session, collectors from 5 districts of the state mentioned excellent works in their respective districts. The Guna collector spoke about the rose cluster development. Harda Collector informed about the efforts made in the encouragement of natural and organic farming. Shajapur Collector spoke about developing a token system for fertilizer distribution. Sheopur Collector informed about better arrangements for crop residue management (stubble execution control). The Khandwa Collector gave detailed information about the gaushala operation in the district successfully. At the end of the first session of the conference, the collectors and commissioners of the districts also gave suggestions to effectively implement the state’s agricultural production policy and promote innovation in the agriculture sector.
