Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the felicitation ceremony organized by Pithampur Industrial Organization in Indore today and addressed the industrialists present. During the program, he released the book “Pithampur – Sifar Se Shikhar” based on the industrial development of Pithampur area. Also, industrialists who made significant contribution in industrial expansion and employment generation were honored.
Industrial importance of Malwa region and better logistics connectivity
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Malwa region has an important role in the industrial development of Madhya Pradesh. The favorable climate and geographical location here is very suitable for industries. He informed that the distance to metropolitan cities like Delhi and Mumbai has been reduced through 8-lane expressway, which has strengthened the transportation and logistics facilities. The state government is further strengthening the infrastructure and transport network through new projects, which is promoting investment and industries.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, continuous efforts are being made in the country for the development of industries, women, farmers and the poor. He said that India is moving forward rapidly through trade agreements and new trade deals with various global organizations. The country is now moving towards the golden era of trade and commerce and is making its strong identity on the world stage.

“Anchors of Industrial Excellence” awards were presented at the event for notable works in the field of industrial development and investment promotion. In particular, 40 leading industrialists who laid the strong foundation of Pithampur Industrial Association (PAS) from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s were honored for their visionary leadership and contribution. These industrialists have played an important role in establishing Pithampur as an industrial city.
