On the occasion of Rang Panchami, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated and performed bhoomi pujan of 50 development works costing Rs 115 crore 35 lakh in Ashoknagar district. Also announced construction of 10 km road from Deepnakheda to Karila Dham and honored seven women on Women’s Day.
Bhopal/Ashoknagar. On the occasion of Rang Panchami, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made a big announcement of development works for Ashoknagar district. In the program organized on March 8, the Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 50 development works at a cost of Rs 115 crore 35 lakh. During this time he also participated in religious and social programs organized at Karila Dham. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various government schemes. Before the program, he visited the exhibition of forest produce, agro-based products and women of self-help groups.
Seven women of the district honored on International Women’s Day
During the program, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav honored seven women of the district who have done excellent work in different fields. He said that the Central and State Governments are running many schemes for the welfare and empowerment of women, thereby making them socially and economically strong.
Mohan Yadav government is running many schemes for women
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that in the coming time, the system of giving 33 percent reservation to women in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will also be implemented. He said that the state government is giving financial assistance of Rs 1500 every month to women under Ladli Brahmin Yojana. Along with this, women are also being given reservation and appointment to higher posts in various government departments. He also said that Farmer Welfare Year is being celebrated in the state. For the upliftment of farmers, the central and state governments are jointly providing assistance of Rs 6,000 each in the form of Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Big announcement by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav: New road will be built till Karila Dham
During the program, the Chief Minister announced approval for the construction of about 10 kilometer long road from village Deepnakheda to Karila Dham. He directed the district administration to prepare a detailed action plan for the overall development of Karila Dham pilgrimage area, so that the devotees coming here can get better facilities.
Darshan of Mata Janaki and Holi of flowers in Karila Dham
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reached Karila Dham and had darshan of Mata Janaki and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. After the puja, he also played Holi with flowers with the devotees. On this occasion, he said that devotees come to Karila Dham to have darshan of Mata Janaki with full faith and devotion, and Mata Janaki fulfills the wishes of the devotees. He said that it is a privilege for him to have darshan of Mata Janaki on International Women’s Day. Mother Sita is a symbol of strength and bravery and her pride holds a special place in Indian culture. The Chief Minister said that the story of Maharishi Valmiki, Mata Sita and Luv-Kush is associated with this holy place. Mother power has always been given the highest place in Indian culture.
Inauguration of various development works in Ashoknagar
The Chief Minister inaugurated many important projects in Ashoknagar district. These include construction of Sandipani Government Higher Secondary School Mahidpur (cost Rs 29.45 crore), construction of Kirraya road from Mohanpur Lidhora road (Rs 1.26 crore), construction of road from Mungawali-Chanderi road to Dungasara (Rs 25 lakh) and construction of high level bridge on the river (Rs 7.06 crore).
Apart from this, 30 bedded Community Health Center building in Rajpur (Rs 10.94 crore), Anganwadi building in village Khairona (Rs 95 lakh), Panchayat building in Kajrai (Rs 2.25 lakh), Government Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Mahavidyalaya (Rs 5.42 crore), 100 bedded girls hostel in Malhargarh (Rs 1.78 crore) and Athai Ghat Primary School building (Rs 43 lakh) were also inaugurated.
New facilities for devotees in Karila Dham complex
Many development works were also inaugurated in Karila Dham complex. These include VIP Darshan approach road (Rs 6.50 lakh), hut construction near Sita Rasoi (Rs 5 lakh), tin shed construction (Rs 2.5 lakh), helipad road construction (Rs 15 lakh) and ramp construction for VIP parking (Rs 5 lakh). Along with this, construction of water tank (Rs 40 lakh) and 5 new hand pumps for drinking water (Rs 89 lakh) were also inaugurated, which will provide better facilities to the devotees and local people.
