Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated development works worth more than Rs 500 crore in Chhindwara and declared 2026 as Farmer Welfare Year. Many schemes were also announced for farmers, women and youth.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh along with the country is progressing rapidly. The aim of the state government is to develop every section including the poor, farmers, women and youth. He said that for us both the soldiers on the border and the farmers in the fields have equal importance. Farmers of the state are being given a Samman Nidhi of Rs 12 thousand every year and under the Ladli Brahmin Yojana, women are getting Rs 1500 every month.
Farmers Welfare Year 2026: Emphasis on increasing the income of farmers
The Chief Minister said that the state government has declared the year 2026 as the Farmer Welfare Year. The prosperity of farmers is the basis of the prosperity of the state. With this thinking, apart from crop production, farmers are being motivated to increase their income through animal husbandry, dairy production, fisheries, horticulture and food processing. He described this as the golden period of the state.
Gift of development works worth more than Rs 500 crore in Chhindwara
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gifted 105 development works costing more than Rs 500 crore to Chhindwara district. These major functions include:
- Tamiya-Junnardev road construction at a cost of Rs 133 crore
- Various projects of tap water scheme
- Police Housing House
- Secondary School Building and Hostel
Apart from this, he also announced the construction of a new building for Chhindwara University.
Transfer of crores of rupees under Sambal Yojana and pension schemes
The Chief Minister transferred Rs 157 crore under Sambal Yojana to the accounts of 7008 workers of the state through a single click. During the programme, an amount of Rs 463 crore was also sent to more than 55 lakh beneficiaries of social security pension schemes. Besides, acceptance letters and benefits were distributed to the beneficiaries of various schemes. The program started with lighting of lamp and Kanya Puja on Maha Ashtami of Chaitra Navratri.
Religious Tourism Development: From Hanuman Lok to Chitrakoot
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wished the people of the state on Maha Ashtami and Shri Ram Navami. He said that Chhindwara has received development gift of about Rs 500 crore and Pandhurna has received development gift of more than Rs 350 crore. The inauguration of Shri Hanuman Lok in Jamsanwali is a matter of pride for the state. He said that Ramrajya is incomplete without Lord Shri Hanuman and the government is working on the same ideal. The state government is developing Chitrakoot Dham and the construction of Shri Ram Gaman Path is also going on. Facilities are being increased at religious places like Mahakal of Ujjain, Jamsanwali Hanuman Dham and Sharda Mata of Satna.
Emphasis on industrial development and employment opportunities
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly in industrialization and providing employment to the youth. The objective of the state government is to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth, so that the state becomes economically strong.
Statement of MP Bunty Vivek Sahu: Development is gaining momentum
MP Bunty Vivek Sahu said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is taking the state forward like a Karmayogi. He said that along with the inauguration of Shri Hanuman Lok in Pandhurna, the second phase of development works has also been announced. 84 sub-health centers have been approved in the tribal areas of Chhindwara. Other than this:
- Better connectivity to two districts through Tamiya-Junnardev road
- New identity due to airport development in Chhindwara
- Construction of school and hostel for education
He said that Chhindwara is gaining recognition as Maize (Corn) City and works worth more than Rs 350 crore have been inaugurated in the district. Many public representatives and a large number of people were present in the program.
