Mp monsoon alert 2025: The monsoon havoc continues in Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, heavy rains were recorded in many districts of the state, causing rivers and drains to be in spate. The water level of the Narmada River in Dindori and Mandla increased dangerously, several bridges were submerged and roadways were interrupted. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of medium to heavy rain for the next 5 days. During this period, Orange Alert has been implemented in 18 districts including Gwalior, Rewa, Singrauli and Yellow alert in 10 districts.
Serious condition of rain and flood
According to meteorologists, cyclonic circulation active in the Bay of Bengal and low pressure area in northern Madhya Pradesh is responsible for heavy rains. In Dindori, the ghats located on the banks of the Narmada River submerged and the Dindori-Ampur road was closed. The small Rapta bridge at Mahishmati Ghat in Mandla was also submerged. In Satna, waterlogging was seen in the lower settlements due to 4 inches of rain.

Yellow alert (heavy rain with thunderstorms): Vidisha, Raisen, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Damoh.
Light rain: Bhopal, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Pandhurna.

Monsoon hit: Orange-yellow alert in which districts
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in 18 districts and Yellow alert in 10 districts. Orange alert districts include Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Satna and Sagar. Yellow alert districts are Vidisha, Raisen, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur and Damoh. At this time it is necessary to take special care in roads, bridges and lower settlements.
River-drain on boom: Things in Dindori and Mandla worrying
The Narmada River is in spate due to continuous rains in Dindori and the ghats are submerged. The Dindori-Ampur road has been closed. A small Rapata bridge has been submerged at Mahishmati Ghat in Mandla. The lower settlements have been flooded due to 4 inches of rain in Satna and surrounding areas.

Meteorological forecast

The maximum temperature in the cities of the state was recorded in Narsinghpur 31 ° C, Ujjain 28.5 ° C, Bhopal 27.6 ° C and Gwalior 27.4 ° C. The minimum temperature was 18.4 ° C in Khandwa and 18.8 ° C in Pachmarhi.
