Mohan Yadav on Sunday conducted a detailed review of law and order through video conferencing from the Police Commissioner’s Office, Bhopal, to ensure peace and order in the state in view of all the upcoming festivals. The Chief Minister gave clear instructions to all the police officers to keep a close watch on the law and order in their respective areas and not to be negligent in any way. He said that immediate action should be taken even on the smallest incident.

Festival Security Guidelines: Festival is a symbol of social harmony

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that festivals are a symbol of social harmony and brotherhood. To ensure that the citizens of the state celebrate their festivals with love and harmony, the field police officers and staff will have to perform duty with extra vigilance and promptness. He directed that special surveillance should be maintained during festivals and the police information system (intelligence network) should be made more active. The police administration should perform its duties with full responsibility, so that no citizen is inconvenienced.

Law and Order Priority: Maintain order under all circumstances

The Chief Minister said that maintaining law and order in the state is the top priority of the government. The government and administration are deployed with full vigilance to ensure that citizens can celebrate their festivals happily without any hindrance. He directed the officials to keep a close watch on every incident and activity during the festival season. Establish security confidence among the public. Coordination should be increased by including respected and influential people of the society in the peace committee. All Superintendents of Police (SP) were instructed to make their control rooms and monitoring systems more strong and effective. Police Inspection Update: Surprise inspection and grading of police stations

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he will conduct surprise inspection of various police stations and offices of the state in the coming days. Grading of police stations will be done on the basis of their performance and feedback received from the public. He instructed the Superintendents of Police that every action related to law and order should be completely transparent. The Chief Minister also said that at present the examinations are going on, hence special monitoring should be kept on all the examination centers and hostels, so that no irregularities take place.
