Adequate stock of LPG, petrol, diesel, PNG and CNG is available in Madhya Pradesh. Minister Govind Singh Rajput said that strict action is going on against black marketing. Consumers have been appealed to avoid rumors and buy fuel only as per requirement.

Bhopal. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput has clarified that adequate stock of LPG, petrol, diesel, PNG and CNG is available in Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, there is sufficient reserve of crude oil in India, due to which there is no shortage of supply.

Strict action on LPG black marketing

The minister said that under the Essential Commodities Act, continuous action is being taken to stop black marketing of LPG. So far, investigations have been conducted at 2050 locations, in which 2912 LPG cylinders have been seized. Apart from this, FIR has been registered in 9 cases. 325 petrol pumps in the state were also investigated, in which FIR has been registered in one case. All district supply officers and oil companies have been instructed to conduct regular checks.

Current status of LPG (LPG)

Adequate LPG stock has been maintained in the bottling plants of the state. Plants are working extended hours to meet consumer demand. The stock and supplies of distributors in the districts are being constantly reviewed.

Availability of petrol and diesel

All oil companies in Madhya Pradesh have adequate stock of petrol and diesel (MS/HSD). There is no shortage of any kind at petrol pumps and continuous supply is being done from the depot.

Special arrangements to meet the increasing demand

In view of the increase in demand, all the supply locations are being operated for longer hours, so that the supply remains normal and there is no problem.

New features for PNG connection

To provide PNG connections, CGD institutions have been instructed to set up control rooms so that consumers can easily lodge complaints. Facility to apply for various permissions has been provided through a single window portal. Domestic and commercial consumers in the areas where the pipeline is laid can apply for PNG connection.

Important appeal to consumers

Minister Govind Singh Rajput has appealed to the consumers that there is no shortage of petroleum products in the state, hence do not pay attention to rumours. Buy petrol and diesel only as per requirement and do not store it unnecessarily. Oil companies have also assured that there is adequate availability of LPG, petrol, diesel, PNG and CNG. Besides, all necessary steps are being taken to ensure uninterrupted supply in the state.
